COLLAGE X CHARCOAL ART CLUB

An hour to drift into collage making in your own time, with quick simple sketches then longer set ups, building up texture, cutting shapes, thinking about tone and shade through layering. You can also use this session for a still life draw!

Here's a list of bits you'll need:

Pencil, marker pen or charcoal or waterbased paint for painting over the top of your collage or to prepare paper ahead of the session with colour

A mix of paper - newspaper, wrapping, tissue, old sketches, prepared painted sheets in varying dark, mid and light tones

A pair of scissors

Large base sheets of card for arranging the collage, cheap and cheerful is fine

Glue - either PVA or pritt stick
